Exciting opportunity to join Citizens Advice Rotherham and District

Citizens Advice Rotherham & District (CARD) is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, multi-skilled individual to join us as a Finance & Office Supervisor. With a trainee position considered, this role is ideal for both experienced bookkeepers/finance assistants and for those seeking to progress their early career in finance and supervision. We offer excellent training and development opportunities to help you reach your full potential. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied role while making a difference to their local community. For the right candidate looking for a trainee position, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience and work towards an AAT qualification through an apprenticeship.

This role is split between two areas of responsibility, bookkeeping/financial controls (40%) and supervision of the town centre office (60%). The post holder will provide financial controls, while supervising the office, including working on reception, administration, facilities, and health and safety.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a positive, committed person who enjoys helping members of the public as well as working with data and reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual, with finance experience and customer service skills, to join us and develop a rewarding career. We are also interested in speaking to people who may have some finance experience who also have experience of working in an office or on reception and are looking to progress their career. A flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team is essential. This role requires the ability to wear ‘different hats’, as you will be working with numbers and detail one day, and with client enquiries and office demands the next. Don't worry if you don't meet every single requirement. If you're passionate about our values and have some of the skills we're looking for, we encourage you to apply. We're committed to developing our team and providing opportunities for growth.
