Decarbonisation Dashboard
To reach Net Zero almost all homes will require some level of retrofit. The costs of this work are significant and for many homeowners there is currently limited financial support.
But these costs aren’t evenly distributed with some areas needing to spend more to increase energy efficiency and install low carbon heating systems.
This dashboard sets out the scale of the challenge at a constituency level, looking at the numbers of inefficient homes and the costs to decarbonise.
Alongside the costs we also present data indicating the significant benefits that Net Zero offers. We map the number of jobs that would be created during the Net Zero transition. And estimate savings to the NHS that the health benefits of cleaner, greener, homes could offer.
