Citizens Advice's response to the CMA's Electric Vehicle charging market study: invitation to comment
Citizens Advice welcomes the CMA’s market study into electric vehicle charging. Though the market is relatively small, it is set to grow substantially over the next decade. It’s important that competition works well to deliver good outcomes for consumers and support the transition to net zero.
In this response, we highlight difficulties with the customer journey including barriers to access, use and leaving contracts, highlighting the need for strong exit protections.
