Kick-start Your Legal Career in Social Justice – Trainee Solicitor Opportunity

Are you passionate about using the law to make a real difference in people’s lives? This is an amazing opportunity for a driven, socially conscious individual with strong communication skills to take the next step towards qualifying as a solicitor – all while helping people in real need.

Join Bradford and Airedale Citizens Advice & Law Centre, a busy and supportive environment at the heart of the community. Our team works directly with individuals and communities facing serious issues like homelessness, poverty, and immigration challenges. We’re experts in social welfare law, providing Legal Aid-funded advice in Housing, Welfare Benefits, and Immigration, as well as accredited Debt advice.

We're offering a unique opportunity to complete your solicitor training with us and build a career in the not-for-profit legal sector. You’ll be working alongside experienced solicitors and supported every step of the way.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in meaningful legal work that changes lives – and develop the skills and knowledge you need to become a qualified solicitor within our Housing team.

For those on the LPC route, you will undertake the Professional Skills Course alongside your training with our organisation. For those following the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) pathway you will undertake self-directed learning and formal training, including an SQE preparation course and the SQE 2 assessment. The cost of your required training and assessments will be met by us.
