Trainee Debt Caseworker

We are currently recruiting for a trainee Debt Caseworker to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to deliver multi-channel debt advice and casework to clients within our community utilising innovative tools. Citizens Advice SORT has an established and growing reputation as an organisation utilising technology to help and improve a caseworker with their administrative burden, from Caddy and CaseNote (our case note automation), to utilising open banking, creating debt chat bot and document analysis tool. This role will give you the opportunity to directly feed in to these developments and help change the way debt advice is delivered and recorded in the future.

The role will be hybrid working, supporting clients referred from other teams within our Citizens Advice as well as our partner organisations. Appointments will largely be done remotely (working from home or our central Manchester office) as well as some face to face advice within Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale or Trafford (this will likely be one or two appointments a week).

Full Time position available and our salary band is £25,542 to £28,953 dependent on experience.
