Am y rôl
Are you passionate about helping people navigate rising energy costs and the cost-of-living crisis? Do you have experience supporting customers or providing advice, either face-to-face or over the phone? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for an Energy Adviser to join our friendly and supportive team. In this rewarding role, you’ll help people reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, access grants and rebates, manage energy debt, and deal more confidently with energy suppliers. You’ll also play a key role in reaching local communities through events, presentations and outreach activities.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing practical energy and cost-of-living advice to local people
Supporting clients to maximise income and reduce fuel poverty
Advising on grants, rebates, energy debt and energy efficiency measures
Attending community events and delivering energy awareness sessions
Helping people access wider Citizens Advice services before problems reach crisis point
Contributing to a project focused on achieving meaningful outcomes for local people and meeting funder target
We’re looking for someone who:
Experience of giving advice or supporting customers
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A positive and organised approach to achieving targets
A genuine desire to improve people’s lives and strengthen local communities
Previous energy advice experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provide
