Citizens Advice Swindon is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Development and Training Officer to join our team.
At the heart of our service are our volunteers, and this role is key to supporting them in their volunteering journey with Citizens Advice Swindon.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery: Deliver dynamic training sessions in various formats to volunteers and staff, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Volunteer Development: Mentor and guide volunteers, helping them develop their skills and confidence in delivering high-quality advice and support.
We are looking for someone who:
-Is well organised
-Has excellent people and communication skills
-Is a great team player
-Is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
-Recognises the value of volunteering both to the individual and society.
You may have prior experience of delivering training, assessing and supporting learners to achieve competence, however, we will consider offering this as a trainee role for the right candidate.
Experience of working in a Social Welfare law setting would be an advantage.
