Adviser Vacancy (Gambling Harm)
Salary: starting salary £24,990 – £26,344 per annum
(Starting salary dependant on experience plus incremental pay rises)
Permanent 37 hours per week
We have 2 roles available.
1 is based across our Ashfield and Beeston Office.
1 is based across Nottingham,Rushcliffe & Gedling.
We are looking for an adviser to join our team working on our brand new gambling harm project. As an adviser specialising in gambling harm you will deliver high-quality, non-judgmental generalist advice, casework, and targeted support to individuals affected by gambling-related harm, across Ashfield and Broxtowe. The postholder will provide advice and assistance in relation to interconnected issues such as complex debt, housing instability, and welfare benefits. Due to the location of these roles a driving licence is essential.
If you wish to be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills-
Ability to communicate effectively and accurately in writing, face to face and on the phone
Ability to undertake training in person or online and ensure your knowledge is up-to-date
Ability to analyse and interpret complex information.
Understanding of the issues involved in interviewing clients
Ability to give and receive feedback objectively and sensitively.
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to monitor and maintain recording systems and procedures.
