Citizens Advice Worcester and Herefordshire are seeking to recruit the following staff based at our Worcester Office
Housing Solicitor/Authorised Litigator and Legal Aid Supervisor
Full time 37 hours per week
Salary £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Solicitor/Authorised Litigator and experienced Legal Aid Supervisor to join our small but dedicated Housing Casework Team.
• We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering a quality advice service to vulnerable clients, and has the ability to lead, manage and develop their team, whilst also playing a key role in developing the future service.
• The successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor or authorised litigator with preferably 2 years’ recent experience of working successfully under contract for housing advice with the Legal Aid Agency.
• You will also be able to meet the Legal Aid Agency supervisor requirements for housing law, or be able to attain this standard within 6 months of starting with us.
