We’re looking for a passionate and organised individual to join our team as a Training and Support Coordinator, helping to grow and support our dedicated volunteer Adviceline Team.

In this dual role, you’ll support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new volunteers, working alongside our Training Coordinator to guide them through a structured training programme. You’ll ensure they gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to provide quality telephone advice in line with our service standards.

You’ll also deliver direct telephone advice to clients on a range of issues including benefits, debt, employment, and housing. Additionally, you’ll act as a mentor to our volunteers, helping maintain a supportive and high-performing team environment.

About You:

Experience giving telephone-based advice and working or volunteering in the voluntary sector.

Familiarity with learner support and Citizens Advice (ideal but not essential – training provided).

Strong communication skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and confidence in working independently and collaboratively.

Why Join Us?

As Cheshire West’s largest independent advice provider, we offer a flexible, supportive environment with generous holiday and sick pay, an Employee Assistance Programme, and a values-driven, inclusive workplace.
