About the role

Join Us as a Money Advice Caseworker at Citizens Advice Hart

Do you want to make a meaningful difference to people facing financial hardship or the risk of homelessness? We’re looking for a compassionate and detail‑driven Money Advice Caseworker to join our warm and supportive team in Fleet.

In this vital role, you’ll provide tailored, high‑quality debt and money advice to clients dealing with arrears, enforcement action or complex financial challenges. You’ll explore every available option from budgeting support and income maximisation to debt relief orders, bankruptcy, IVAs and negotiation with creditors; helping clients find realistic, sustainable solutions that improve their wellbeing and long‑term stability.

You’ll take a thorough, structured approach to casework, ensuring all files meet FCA, Citizens Advice and AQS quality standards, while keeping clear, accurate records for reporting and continuity. As a valued member of our advice team, you’ll also support colleagues and volunteers with expert guidance on debt-related issues and maintain relationships with our local housing team.

We’re looking for someone with experience in debt or housing, strong communication and negotiation skills, solid numeracy, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while staying calm, empathetic and organised.

What we offer:

  • Permanent role, 22.5–30 hours per week (negotiable)

  • Salary FTE £27,500–£29,500

  • Based in our friendly Fleet office

  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays

  • 5% employer pension contribution

  • Free parking, IT equipment, and endless tea, coffee and biscuits!

If this sounds like you, we’d love you to apply and help us support our community.
